Bramble Hill Farm

Bramble Hill Farm believes that empowering yourself starts with choosing nutrient-dense, local food. To help make that choice easier and more accessible, they’ve created two beautifully designed product lines: Micro Garden and Sprout Garden. These all-in-one kits make it simple to grow your own microgreens at home, right on a windowsill or tabletop. Each kit includes everything you need, with functional, sustainable packaging that reduces the need for single-use plastics. Just add water.

The Challenge

Bramble Hill was preparing to launch a new product line, Sprout Garden, designed to build on the success of their original Micro Garden kits. With expansion into new markets and export channels on the horizon, they needed updated packaging that would stay true to the original brand while signaling innovation and growth. In addition to the new line, they also wanted clear, engaging video content to help customers understand how to use their kits with confidence.

It was important that everything from design to video felt fresh and forward thinking, while still grounded in the trust Bramble Hill has built with customers across Atlantic Canada.

Our Approach

We worked closely with the Bramble Hill team to design packaging for three new SKUs under the Sprout Garden line. Our goal was to create something that felt cohesive with the existing Micro Garden aesthetic while giving each new product its own distinct visual identity. That meant designing custom patterns for each kit, refining existing layout elements, and updating the copy to better position the product for new audiences.

On the content side, we produced a series of short instructional videos to guide customers through each kit step by step. These videos were crafted to reflect Bramble Hill’s warm, approachable brand while providing clear, high-quality education on how to get the most out of each product.

The Solution

Our design process focused on clarity, consistency, and creativity. We introduced new title treatments and subtle visual shifts to help the Sprout Garden line stand out while staying connected to the Bramble Hill brand. We also revised the front panel layout to include product imagery and helpful context, making the kits easier to understand at a glance. On the back of the packaging, we tightened the layout and copy to improve readability and support consumer confidence.

Meanwhile, our video production team produced four short instructional videos optimized for digital use. These assets now support customer education and export readiness and will continue to serve as foundational tools as Bramble Hill grows into new markets.

Results and Impact

Bramble Hill now has a refreshed product line supported by a unified visual system and strong digital content. This helps their team tell a clearer brand story, launch new products with confidence, and meet the needs of customers at home and abroad.

Packaging Design: Sprout Garden Line
We extended the product line with a fresh title treatment and custom pattern designs that complement the existing Micro Garden aesthetic while giving each new kit a distinct look.

Front Panel Refresh
We revised the front of the package to include a photo of the kit in action and a simple product blurb, improving shelf presence and making the product easier to understand at a glance.

Back Panel Refinement
We polished the back of the packaging to improve layout, clarify instructions, and ensure a better experience for first-time customers. The result is forward thinking design that positions Bramble Hill for continued product line expansion.
